Career
Yashasvi Jaiswal reached Mumbai to pursue a career in cricket, her father did not raise any objection as he did not have enough money to support his family. Santosh, a relative of his house in Mumbai, but his house is not big enough that anyone else can go and live in that house, Santosh was the manager of Muslim United Club, and he arranged for Yashasvi’s stay after talking to the owner there.
Yashasvi had started living there, he told that he used to sleep exhausted after doing cricket practice all day, that’s why one day where he plays and sleeps all day and no one helps, that’s why his stuff is out thrown away.
At some point in time, his father used to send money to him which was not enough, so he used to sell pani puri in the open fields to feed himself and help another merchant to sell fruits. But there were also days when they had to sleep empty stomach because they used to fight with each other on the ground or with whom they lived and sometimes they did not even cook.
Yashasvi used to say that he used to sell pani puri at that time if someone from his team comes to eat, he was embarrassed and used to go to play with the big boys and score runs, then he got 200 ₹ 300. Used to go Where the boys of Yashasvi’s age always brought food or the parents of the boys used to take food for them, but they had to cook and eat their own food. And every night, candles had to be lit every night because there was no electricity system.
In the year 2013, Jwala Foundation, a cricket academy coach named Jwala Singh, saw Yashasvi playing well and then started knowing about him. When he came to know that he lived in a tent on the ground, his heart was filled. And he took Yashasvi with him to the academy and told his father and mother that I will take full care of him. After that Jwala Singh started training them.
Cricket Career
In the year 2018-19 he played Ranji Trophy for Mumbai, he made his List A debut for Mumbai in the 2019-20 Vijay Hazare Trophy. He scored 203 runs from 154 balls in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against Jharkhand and become the youngest double centurion in the history of List A cricket at 17 years.
In December 2019, he was named in India’s squad for the 2020 Under-19 cricket world cup. In February 2020, he scored a century against Pakistan in the semi-final world cup. Yashasvi was bought in the Rajasthan team during the IPL auction.
