Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt reached a remarkable milestone on Sunday, securing his place among the NFL‘s elite. In a game against the Dallas Cowboys, Watt notched his 100th career sack, becoming only the 44th player in league history to do so. The achievement came in just 109 games, making him the second fastest to reach the mark, behind only Hall of Famer Reggie White, who did it in 96 games.

J.J. Watt’s Playful Reaction After T.J. Watt Reaches Major Milestone of 100 Career Sacks

The moment that saw Dak Prescott fall victim to a strip sack by T.J.Watt brought a wave of celebrations, particularly from his older brother, J.J. Watt. Taking to social media, J.J., also a member of the 100 Sack Club, humorously acknowledged his sibling’s accomplishment.
“Welcome to the 100 Sack Club… we’ve been waiting. New guy buys everyone else a car. I don’t make the rules, that’s just the way it goes,” he wrote, adding a playful spin to the celebration.

J.J., who retired after the 2022 season, reached his 100th sack in 120 games and concluded his career with 114.5 sacks. His younger brother now appears well on his way to surpassing that total, continuing a family tradition of defensive dominance.
J.J. Watt was once considered one of the most feared pass rushers in the NFL, a title that has seemingly been passed to T.J., who has quickly made his own name in the league. Sunday’s game saw Watt record his fourth sack of the season, underscoring his continued dominance on the field.
As T.J. Watt’s NFL journey progresses, comparisons between the two brothers only add to the narrative. Yet, with his latest achievement, T.J. has carved out his own path to greatness, inching closer to surpassing his brother’s career sack total, and further establishing his legacy as one of the top defenders in the league.
